I need Windows XP MS Paint.

I really really hate the paint that comes with Windows 7. I'm a pixel artist and it's just too frustrating to work with. I know that the Windows XP paint is a single .exe file. If someone could upload and post/pm me a link to it I would be forever grateful! Thank you!
 
If you hate the paint program on Windows XP, why are you asking for it?

It should already be on your PC unless you manually deleted it.
 
I'm using Windows 7 now. I upgraded from XP.

The XP version is wonderful, the 7 version is just horrid for pixel art.
 
It's not just that. The zooming is really messed up and God only knows how to get a square brush.

Oooh, now I see what you're saying. I misread that. Have you tried Googling for the MS Paint program? Maybe Microsoft's website has it.
 
If you have "upgraded" from your legit XP, then could locate MSPaint on your XP Disc and expand it, and legally use it

By the way Windows 7 is not released yet so you may want to re-install XP and then get MSpaint, and then upgrade to the real Windows 7 (if you have purchased it and waiting for its arrival).

You cannot download this specific program (officially)

I never thought of getting it off of my XP disc. And I'm using the evaluation 7100 copy of Windows 7 that you can download from Microsoft, just so you all know. :)

What was in the PM ?

The issue is, that if others want to do this and find this thread through a Google search or something; they're going to want to know ;)
This is why all support replies should be handled on the open forum, and not in PM
