Just make sure its optical, rolling ball wear out and get dirty. I have a Logitech USB optical, and its awsome... had it for about 3 years and it works great.
 
pfft u can get an optical mouse for 20 dollars at best buy or radio shack that i have never had ne probs with for teh past 2 years. But they have really serious gamer ones like mice with weight cartidges so u can attune it to ur wrist strength ;-) and that have a quick 1 touch scroll bar to quickly adjust mouse sensitivity like if your going from driver a tank to going prone and sniping or somethin like that. But my mouse still seems to "pwn t3h n00bs, im 1337!!!1!!"
 
Don't you see he said that he wants wired?

I would go with a MX518, razer diamond back, and the absolute best wired mouse out, razer copperhead, although it is $60, it is worth it.
