Hello many of you may remember the tales of the farther who dont like routers. Well it has come to the point Ireally can't be bothered to share the internet cable with my sister and I will buy a router and put it in my room. Im looking for any cheap router that will work for games. So im going to ebay. Could anyone tell me if this is any good for gaming (is it faster if I use wires, if so I will).

and if I purchased this aswell (would only cost like £2.50, if all goes well) would that booste the speed and improving gaming by 50% as it says?

Dont be cheap... You get what you pay for. buy name brand and you wont have problems playing games...

Im not sure what angle your coming from here, but erm they are not really cheap routers, things on ebay often sell for less than they are worth. And that Wireless G router (the lesser specification one) was recomended to me by Skidude about 4 months aggo.

Works great, never had any problems. Play CSS and BF2 all the time with low pings.
Thats $40 and the one I believe to be better msut be worth more.

The frst one I showed you was a BTrouter, well thats a trusted brand name. It stands for "British Telecom" they are the people if you didnt realise who basicaly provide the boradband and phone lines to the whole of the country and most providers use their lines anyway.

And its not a matter of being cheap or not, I would have liked to know how much better the slightly more expensive router is. And it dont matter if I pay £50 in shops or £15 on ebay its the same product and will perform identicaly.

Hey man. My advice is get Linksys. Its the best, I have never had a problem with it since I got it. Except a black dude came to my house and stole my brother's connection router. Before he was his friend, now we know. Go to bestbuy and pick one up.

HAHA, thats pretty shitty for you lol. And erm I cant go to bestbuy. Im ENGLISH :P. I may just go with the routers I seen as they have been recomended by a good member. And how much better performace will the 108mbps one have over the 58mbps? will you actualy notice it? And ohh they look cool aswell hehe.
