How tight does motherboard have to be screw in?

I tried installing my Gigabyte P35-DS3L mobo into my Antec 900 last night. It wouldn't screw in very tight though. No matter how much I tightened the screws, there was always room for more tightening, which indicates that the standoffs are not gripping the screws very well. When I pull up gently, the screws will pop out... this isn't supposed to happen is it?

Second.... will the motherboard shake or vibrate and potentially undo the screws?
 
Sounds like you're using screws that are too small.

The motherboard won't move but depending on how it's mounted gravity and the weight of your heatsink may pull it off.

You just need some fatter screws.
