how often do you dust your computer?

For me; monitor and outside of the case once a month, inside of the case every couple months. So how about you?
 
My monitors, probably once a month, they usually just don't get dirty. My keyboard gets used a lot so around the keys don't get dust, but the top of it I will do once a week. My fans, once a month and the computer in general, inside and out, once a month.
 
I usually clean my monitor every couple weeks, and I usually clean the inside every six months. I would recommend though, if you are in an area where dust is prevalent then you might do a internal cleaning every month.

Yes. But most of the time people don't think about dusting and it's really annoying when a friend asks you to help with their computer and you take the side off and heaps of dust flies at you... and one time a spider was in a case:eek:

Haha that's great, a spider! Yeah one month seems like overkill, but I've seen some computers that I couldn't even imagine how all that dust accumulated in the case.
 
About once a month... heatsink i totally clean with air compressor and whatnot every 6 months and reapply thermal paste at same time(alot easier to clean heatsink out of case lol)... fans and whatnot though, about once a month.
 
monthly, monitors like weekly but since i built my pc which is more than a month, i haven't clean it at all
 
Well since we are on this topic, how does the spray for LCD monitors work? I've never had to really clean the actual screen besides using a moist towel. But I do know at computer shops they do sell special stuff, anyone try it?
 
Once every few days for the tower, (fans and outside only) - so much dust gets into the dust traps. Ive not cleaned the inside yet because there is no dust there =P
 
I keep my room clean so I rarely ever even see dust in my computer. In other words, I will only dust out my comp if I find a need to open it for some other reason.
 
I keep my room spotless, ive no idea where the dust comes from. Perhaps its because it is right next to an air conditioning / heating vent. (less than 4 inches away)
 
hmm, my pc, usually once every 2 or 3 weeks (on the inside.)
the monitor etc,.. about twice a week or so.

now dont think of me as a neatfreak, my room is an absolute mess. I just really, really, really hate dust!

Same here,Because i have a Huge intake fan with no filters on the front of my case it can get dusty very quicky in there.

My cpu heatsink never gets that dusty,its usualy my Graphics card fan that gets it all :P

Monitor....whenever its looking a bit dirty i just wipe it over with those wipes.
 
Yeah I will clean my monitor once every 2 weeks, fan's every 4-6 months, they just don't really get dusty.
