When and what was the first model of the Pentium 4 processor released by Intel?
^ Sounds about right. I remember getting a P4 @ 2.4 late 2002 and thinking 'sweet!'. With the advancement being what it is/was, that time frame is accurate.
Imsati, what happened to the Pentium D processor? Sell it off?
And then I got one that (seems to have a dual-core because it shows up twice in the device manager) ran at about 3.6 Ghz.
For the life of me, I can't recall, but did CPUs with HT show up twice?
i remember my first pc with a p4 478-ahh, horribly slow and painful days to think about in the age of the Q6600! All Hail The Q6600! (slowly bows down to q6600 newegg page)
