HL2: Lost Coast

yes, it actully doesn't been that great a computer to run ni the first place, just a pretty decent one to run it with HDR, which yours is also capible of, HDR just needs a video card Dx 9.0 and up

It will run, but on low settings if you have HDR enabled. People have said that its not really that fun, its mainly just to show off the new HDR.

Yeah thats very true, not too fun, its just a showcase. If you want it to be able to run on higher setting's try gettnig more ram, people dont emphize ram enough IMO, like my sisters PC, lags to much on WoW but it was just her ram, i had the same prablem untill i got more ram, same thing happened after i got her moer ram, problem disapeered. N4S same thing happend on mine. CS:CZ same thing.

i could run it on high with about 20 FPS but it was choppy and i was using almost all my memory and 1 gb pagefile usage too. and my cpu usage was at 50-100% constant. but its not that fun i find it really confusing but the graphics are great.

Same as 1.6 except with bots. What I used to get by before I had cable internet. Not worth it if you already have source or 1.6

Yes, just play against the bots in the "create server" thing, although you have to have the game fully updated through steam to do so.

Yes it does have multiplayer through LAN and internet also.

how much better is source than 1.6 and is 1.6 worth getting and is there any other previus versions of counterstrike and if so how good are they and are they worth it.

Source OWNS!! Hands down. There shouldn't even be a choice. Graphics are better, physics are better, the whole game is better!! Worth every penny. My favorite game of all time.:D :D :D :D

BTW- CS 1.6 is free

do many people still play this game??

and does source take a fairly good computer to run? do you think my laptop(in sig) would run it smoothly on low settings and above? this d@mn laptop is what holds me back from buying a lot of games.

yes source will play on your computer in low settings maybe high. in my computer in my sig i can play on high with 30-35 FPS.

EDIT:Wait i just noticed that your laptop in your sig says shared is that an integrated vid card or a dedicated one. cause if it is integrated it will play but it is really choppy you cant even move ten feet and the game is over. at least thats what happeneed with my dads dell laptop yours might be different
