I was wondering, is Hitman 4 just as enjoyable without the experience of any earlier Hitman games?

I might get it then, I've put 200 hours into Oblivion as of now so I'm thinking of trying Hitman as a temporary change. :)

Not as much as seeing a grown man sing along to Schnappi on the street.

And classical music is very good in my oppinion, but there are always some music in every genre that doesn't appeal to one at all.

mrjack you listen to classical music?

I can't avoid it either, since my father listens to a lot of classical music, so I learned to like it. He listens to it in the morning, during the day, and in the evening.

Still in the early stages for me though, can you recommend any good compositions?

Sure, Die Zauberflote by Mozart is good, best conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt, you'll love Don Giovanni, its about a man that chases women, I don't know if you like melancholic Schubert or Mahler but if yes I have many to suggest...
And of course you must have heard Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, my favourite is the fourth movement...
PM me your MSN email or Yahoo Messenger ID or something, we're better talking live...

I personally love Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, Dvorak's New World Symphony, Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition/Great Gate of Kiev, Copland's Appalachain Spring..., ah... Nothing like letting the music express the emotions without lyrics! If you want to shoot me an IM or PM of what sort of Classical (syphonic, marches, piano, violin, etc.) you like, then I could give you a lot better recommendations as well :)

I listen to classic when I need to relax. But when partying heavily I do need a sweet fast phased rythm.... HipHop, Techno/Trance some rock etc. :)

/sorry off topic

I'm going to try and get it today. I'm getting it over episode one because I need a change of pace... I'm sick of action games.

Does $39.99 sound resonable at gamestop?

Trust me when i say it's definately worth getting. So far the best score it has gotten in the reviews i've read was 8/10. I personally would aim more for a 9 or 9.5 but apparently thats just because this is the first Hitman i've played. Fans of the previous games are complaining that it's just more of the same with only a handful of new elements thrown in. I think that is a good thing. Don't beleive the people who tell you the notoriety system is pointless, it's implemented perfectly. Also, don't listen to the liars on the net who can't be bothered to complete the game and so assume they now what happens in the end and tell everyone it's a spoiler. If you really want to know what happens play it through to the end, you'll be glad you did.

8/10? I'd give it a 10/10, its seriously the best game I've ever played.
That may seem to you as if I haven't played that many games...

Lol, I just finished thr first mission :P

2 questions though, 1) everytime I quit do i have to pick my profile difficulty level and level when I want to play again, and 2) is there any way to "beat" the hideout mission or do I need to exit and select teh next mission manualy?

EDIT: Oh, and there's no way to return to an ingame save once you exit?

You can choose the difficulty at the beginning of every mission and they give you a list of missions so you can go back and play any of them as many times as you want.

The hideout is simply a place where you can mess around with all the guns. When you get bored either quit or go to the door at the top of the stairs (this does the same thing as quitting)

Oh, and there's no way to return to an ingame save once you exit?

Whenever you complete a level, quit or restart the game your ingame saves are wiped, forcing you to replay. Luckily the levels are quite short and once you have a method of completing it you may find that you don't even need to save at all. But thats only if your really confident.

I've never given much thought to the Hitman games, due to the huge amount of gore and such, but, I'm reading some reviews and looking at some screencaps, and I have to say, it does sound/look good.

I'd have to say that my most gore/blood filled game is either Fable or Metal Gear Solid. Is Hitman worse that those or, about the same? I might actually look into getting them for my PS2.

there is quite a lot of blood in this game, shoot down 10 cops with the assult rifle and u will know what i mean.

Maybe it'd be best if I was to rent it first to see if I like it before buying.
You can turn the blood off, but the core of the game is still pretty violent..

Wow, I just finished the second mission (well the first real one), I should have played hitman a while ago. I only got the hitman ranking though :(

The games arn't the same without having what they were first programmed to have on, on though. Honestly, I've tried with Metal Gear Solid becuase there where smaller kids around, and it's not the same, that and I have a harder time telling if the person is really dead.

Maybe i'll just rent the newest one to see what it's like, I'll have to figure out how to rent it though, the parents will likely think I'm nuts for wanting to try it, but it's worth a try for tomorrow.
