high density ram

my cuzin has a emachine T2893 and she bought some high density ram, 1GB PC 2700 128x64, her dad said it "won't fit", is this cause its high density?
 
it will fit, and i dont see any reason why the motherboard wont like the high density ram. its only quite old machines that dont like the high density stuff

im guessing yes he's sticking into the Dimm slots..but correctly, i cannot guarentee, im gonna walk her through it over the phone this weekend..hopefully that'll help. Thanks guys.
 
well, she tried it again and told me that when she boots up, it displays, "memory went down"...then it hangs. WTH?
