Help Review PC Before I Buy!

Okay so yes this is my first build ever, and yes I am new to this! I have been doing a lot of research (and still am) before purchasing my computer which I plan to put together myself. Please help me in saying if what I have chosen is good or what you all would probably put in it's place. I don't really have the funds to spend MUCH more than $1200 (with the monitor and OS), but if a slight increase in price meant adding much longevity to the PC I might be able to let something slide. I want to be able to play the most graphic intense games on fairly high if not the highest settings if possible. Your help is greatly appreciated! (Oh and I am not sure what CPU cooler to use) Here's what I picked:

Mobo - good price, but the downside is it only support up to DDR3 1200. you may consider ASRock 870 EXTREME3 as it has crossfire at x8 if you don't want to spend a lot.

PSU - I think it would be better to get 750W if you overclock. Also consair 650W only has 2x 6/8pin

Video card - I would consider other brand due to the heatsink design

Case - Will Antec 300 a bit small for dual card set-up?

HDD - I think samsung run slightly faster...

CPU cooler - where is it??
Consider these

Very cool, thanks daisymtc - I will look into those things. Would you think that maybe a dual card setup is not the way to go? I have read many controversial things that argue a single better card can be a better value in some cases.. Not to mention a better upgrade opportunity in the future? Do you suspect running high-end games on high settings is viable with this setup?

Would the scythe cpu cooler be enough? Or would I almost have to run one of the more expensive ones?

He's right that cooler is huge! I made the mistake of getting a mid tower and will little over an inch of clearance from the side of the case... So yeah buy a bigger, case. Now the videocard, XFX never had any luck with them they would always break on me in an instant! The rest looks good to me :)
