Help removing virus! Instructions don't make sense.

My anti virus program found this virus on my computer and was not able to remove it:

heur:exploit.java.cve-2012-1723.gen

I also ran Malwarebytes and that did not work either and it actually showed that I didn't have any malware where as my anti virus told me that I did. in the instructions it tells me to open my computer in safe mode with networking and then it tells me to open the task manager. from there it shows up my task manager should come up and show me many running processes, however when my task manager opens and safe mode it doesn't show anything in it? does anyone know how I can find my running processes so that I can delete the virus?

• Save the file to your windows desktop. The combofix icon will look like this when it has downloaded to your desktop.

It doesn't happen often, but it has a chance of messing something up. As long as you disable your antivirus and don't try to do things while Combofix is running it will be fine.

so this is weird I deleted that original file that was infected as well as clear the cache on Java which is another fix that I had read to do in kasperskeys blog. then I reran my anti virus program and the virus is no longer showing up it says I have 0 threats. however, when looking online some of the screen and print appears different as if there is still an infection somewhere?
