That's why Geoff said buy a Kindle. You can root it and install a vanilla (stock) version of Android on it.and, i have to have android, like with play store and every thing, not kindle.

It's great that you want to develop apps, best of luck!well, im a beginner, and i want to learn the basics with this android, did you know, that if you plug it in t ur computer, on linux, and open terminal and open the android as root, than you can make .apk files in there, and make/change/learn apps!
