Plz feel free to give me links to better deals/better products.
And give links to anything else I need.

Any help greatly appreciated

EDIT: I updated lots of stuff, any input on some of the choices, like which RAM, and which Power supply (leaning towards sunbeam)

And Sucks I can't buy off newegg, I'll have to find that stuff off tigerdirect.

And any tips on how I can keep this under $1000, maybe downgrade the video card???????

Do you want to use SLI in the future, if not I would highly recommend the one in my sig.

Otherwise it looks like good stuff.

edit: Antec makes excellent PSU's and cases.

The Antec True Power 2.0 480w does great here with two hard drives and everything else running strong. I'll be stepping that up a little to the TP2 550w model when the SATA array goes in for the increased storage there. If you were planning an expansion later the extra power needs would be met there with no problem.

well u asked for tips but i can but one togther for you on tiger direct and post the parts. unless u want to personally do that. if you want me to suggest a build then let me know. i can look for under $1000

I would greatly appreciate it if you could do that, any advice or parts that you would prefer feel free to post.
PLz go ahead and suggest a build

ok ill do it now and i would prefer ati over nvidia unless u get the 7950 but its not that cheap from what i find. i have the ati x1900xt and it works excellent for all the games i play. however if ur an nvidia guy then i could try and find one thats not that expensive

Thank you, and I could go either way, whichever card is better and cheaper.

BTW, you have the exact system that I would want.

where in alberta do you live? if you live in calgary or edmonton, buy from memoryexpress, you can save 80-90 dollars in shipping and you can find them if something breaks

Thanks wixostrix, I was already planning on getting the processor and mobo you sugested. Thanks for the RAM, thats a good deal.

I like the case, but I'm not sure how good quality the power supply is.
I'll probably end up buying the power supply seperate.

And I live in Red Deer, Alberta. Is memoryexpress a store in Calgary and Edmonton? I could probably drive there if it is.

oo red deer, i was there yesterday, after coming from a hunting trip.

memoryexpress is in calgary and the price difference between tigerdirect is minimal (20 dollar give and take) u can find them if you have a problem. 7 days no-questions asked return policy:D

i will be buying there during december

your welcome. i actally bought mine seperate to, but i was trying to stay as close to the $1000 mark as possible while still considering the graphics card. i read some review for that case on newegg and they said it was good but no one actually mentioned anything about the psu. and u could probably find a cheaper case in a store anyway.
