Heat Patches

A quick search always turns up a few items for monitoring temps in a case. A
look at: http://www.pccasegear.com/category56_1.htm is a place to start. A
few items caught notice at the site there for a few friends to look over. Some
mother board manufacturers also have utilities for monitoring temps on their
support pages.

on your cpu? i dont think so buddy, not for measuring the temp. you dont put anything on your cpu but a heatsink or some thermal compound. anything else will cause it to overheat.
those system he linked you to should work just fine for measuring temps... shouldn't be off by more than 5C if you apply them right. they normally come with a few so you can monitor other temps too.
u place the sensor between heatsink fins, directly above the processor core (the core is about as big as your thumbnail on a normal basis)
