a luxury car will increase your sex appeal, however i dont know if a modded car will increase it.
when your sex appeal is higher you get more women making comments at you and i also believe it helps your progress with your girlfriend

This is the problem with todays society. We look for this sort of advice from the internet instead of going to our parents like we should. Sheesh... J/K :P

I can testify to that! a luxury car will get you the most but a modded car could get you the same but perhaps with a different class of woman. Right now I'm riding a bike and taking the bus (chicks don't dig that). I'm married so I'm OK.
