Hey guys, im building my first high end gaming pc very soon and need some knowhow that ive never needed before because ive only made low end general pcs. My question is: is it possible to install multiple IDE devices on the same cable and if it is possible to install four case fans plus the cpu and northbridge fan on a Albatron PX925XE Pro mobo. That pirticular mobo has two 2 ATA133 Channels and 1 ATA100 Channels. Now does that mean that two of my devices will have to run on a reduced speed and if so, what would you reccomend, running the hard drives or the disk drives on reduced speed?
Also, the mobo has 1 cpu fan header and 2 system fan headers. That means there's enough for the cpu fan, the northbridge and one other fan. but i still need to install three others. is this possible to do? is there any way to directly plug in from the psu? I have a 500watt psu so, power shouldnt be a problem. Cheers for ure help guys,
btw my system is going to be a
Thermaltake Armor case, Albatron Px925XE Pro mobo, Leadtek 7600gt, 3.4 LGA775 64bit p4, 2x 120gb Seagate Barracuda + 1 80gb WD800 for backup, Thermaltake Big Typhoon CPU cooler, Zalman VF700-Cu VGA cooler
