Factory defauly disc burning - Help Needed Please

Hi everyone.

I have just purchased a new Acer 6935 laptop with Vista and it advises me to make a back up of the factory default. Acer eRecovery software tells me that the file size is about 7.63gb and that it will need 2 DVDs. However, at no point during the process does it ask me to change discs and then when it gets to the end of the verification an error message appears saying burn failed error 204 and that I need to enter a blank disc. If i then enter a new blank disc the process just start all over again with the same problems??

Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks a lot!!!

Recovery disks creation on my HP laptop helped me to waste 5 DVDs. At the first 3 disks, i thought i was doing somethng wrong. But when u waste 5 DVDs one after another, u know that u are not wrong. So i chose the safe side. I did not tried to create any further disks, and i left the recovery partition inact.
So whether HP or Acer, i dont trust recovery disks. U can always recover from ur recovery partition, unless, ur hard disk fails. But then still u can order recovery disk.

So the choice is urs, go on and waste a few more DVDs or just leave it.
