Error Error

Again thank you. For some reason no more slow internet and the comp. is running normal. I have CCleaner installed again. I will delete adobe 4.0 and delete those barbie, sims and a few others I see. This comp was built in July of 08, but didn't start to use it until 09 sometime. Never a new install and never had as much as a hiccup until now. I thought it would be a pain to load everything back in especially my msn premium and my steam games. I'm going to delete programs, scan and defrag. I think it's time to give this comp. to my daughter and son n law, they have my old system from 6-7 years ago. This one runs fine. My new comp. was built and has the following;

CM storm scout
Mobo Asus X58
6gb ram
i7920
4870X2 (one card)
1TB HD
DVD/RW
OS Win 7 professional
MS office complete
Oh and I have the Logitech Z2300 for speakers

I had this built nearly 1 year ago and have never used it. Maybe time to plug it in and start using this one......

Oh and I have a samsung 22" and an Asus 24" monitor still in the box....

John I d/l the defraggler and it's been defragging.

Says the following

1851 fragmented files 109 GB
15,847 total fragments
52% fragmentation

Wow this is probably a big issue on slowness

It's been running for 20mins. and still 1300+ fragmented files and it's at 2%

Well I deleted all the games I don't use and updated adobe and got rid of 4.0. I'm defragging now then will run CCleaner and hopefully see the improvement. Will let you know, again thanks for all the help... :good:
 
It will take a while to run especially if its 52 percent fragmented. The slow internet was due to your temporary internet files that just kept adding up over time. If they don't get deleted it will slow your surfing down.

Yeah it's 7:02pm and has now been defragging for about 1hr 20 mins and it says 19% defragmenting. Still shows 46% defragmentation and 96GB wow this is going to take all night. HEHE
