CS:S Map Editor/Creator?

Does anyone know a good map maker/editor for css? I'm looking to edit some maps or make some of my own - just basic ones - so does anyone know how i can do this? :good:
 
Go to the Tools tab in Steam. It's called like Source SDK, or something of that nature. Then Google for tutorials. Quite easy once you get the hang of it.
 
As g4m3r said, Source SDK. But I've tried, it is fun, but takes a lot of time and effort, even for just a room with a light source.
But it is a good feeling once you finish.
 
SDK can look overwhelming but there are definitely tons of good tutorials out there. It definitely takes a while to get the hang of it (I dont think I ever did) but it's fun. Even basic stuff takes quite a bit of work and time though =/
 
Steam doesn't recognise McDonald's Free WiFi as an internet connection... are there any 3rd party ones?

Also how are you playing a legal copy of CS:S without steam? :S

Don't know of any 3rd party tools, there were plenty for 1.6. Bit of a shame really.

He currently does not have net I believe, atleast not very good.

If he already had CS:S installed he can have run it in offline mode, but ofcourse if he is, he can't download Source SDK

And apart from SDK, I also can't think of any 3rd party tools

Oh and i used my dad's iphone to go online and validate my games and whatnot, should have gotten the SDK :(
