Could This System Be For Real?

Honestly at this point I wouldn't really recommend any AMD chip except an 8320/8350 if you can find one for cheap. It's quite pathetic really. I really hope AMD gets their sh*t together. Intel is absolutely crushing them.

Intel has been crushing them since the qx6700 beat the pants off of their dual cpu fx-74 setup for less money

Darren is right... I would never vow for a AMD processor in a enthusiast level build. Essentially that's Intel's zone. AMD is good up until you build reaches about $1k in my mind..

Even like up to 700ish, with that budget, its hard to fit an i5, so maybe up to an 8350

But anything over that, its easy to fit an i5 4690K or an i7 4790K

This system is better and more expensive too, I just selected the most expensive options

Ehh I wouldn't say that. The 8320/8350 was a pretty good chip at a great price when it came out. And actually you can get an 8320 for 110 bucks now. For the performance I get out of my chip, that's fantastic.

But yeah overall AMD has been declining. They've been the lesser of the two ever since I started getting in to computers in 2011 or so.

I'd say it depends on your uses. I have the 6300, not the best but I payed $90! Two of my friends have the i5 3570k, and we did a test among the 3 of us. Both their 3570k systems beat mine in gaming, ( lets not forget theirs is around $210 ) but when we did multitasking and editing mine actually won by a hare. So while Intel is better off in the gaming section, the price you pay for what you get in the new AMDs is pretty amazing. I also ran comparison in pricing tests. My CPU got a 9.4 in the price you get compared to the preformance. Every intel i've tested ran a 7.1- 7.4. Don't get me wrong intels beat AMD always, but ALL of their cpus are far too over priced.

Got bored again... :)
