Cooling Device for GPU

Is the artic cooling better than the zalman cooler? I am going to be ordering very soon so I need to make sure everything is right.

forget this question, I could not find an artic cooler for my 6600GT (AGP)

I mean as long as the mobo is secured, it should do any damage right? I heard that a guy wrapped some string around it and tied the string to the top of his case for some support... not a bad idea.

But, I don't have to worry... The cooler comes with some small heatsinks so I'll make sure to put them on that bridge. Also, I have an old motherboard out in the shed that has a northbridge fan that would be perfect!

^^... I hope that would work, otherwise I just spent 30 bucks that I didn't need to...

I just ordered from newegg... first time too! I loved it! Props to newegg!

if you have an ATI card go with the arctic cooling accelero x2, if you have a nvidia fo with the x1 versoin of this. Superior noise to cooling ratio.
 
yea an accelero or a silencer.
i have an nv silencer rev. 3 on my 7800gt and its really nice.. dropped temps 3-5C but my stock cooler was better than most stock coolers, but i wanted it to exhaust the air rather than put it back in my case.
personally, i don't think the cooling actually helps an overclock at all with a video card at least... cuz u cant overvolt a video card as ive said.
