computer locks up

Came back from weekend trip. Computer will not boot. Fans start drive lights flash, but that was it. After several trys it booted only to lock up after a few minutes. The fan starts to go into a higher speed, but then goes to normal. speed.

Any ideas?
 
I have the same thing with the high reving fans for about 3 seconds then it goes away. I think its normal.

For the lockup problem and that kind of stuff try checking the power connector on the mobo i have had that slip just a tad loose and it didnt start up on an old puter of mine other than that i would have no idea of what could be wrong.. Did anyone at all use the computer while you where away?

I dont realy know what els it could be maybe a bad powersuply?
