The last week or so, my computer has been running really slow, especially through start-up. I haven't got much starting up anymore, only my av, rocketdock, yahoo widgets and msn, yet it is taking forever. I scan my comp everyday with Ccleaner, Ad-aware, and have AVG scan my comp every 2 days. Here is a Hijack log.

Anything else that needs to be taken care of? As fair as performance goes, it's still quite sluggish, especially when loading programs and booting up. Gaming isn't too bad,although it is still slower than usual.Would be time for a re-install, it's been about 12 months since I did one.

Your logfile now appears to be clear of malware. From a performance perspective, you have QuickTime and iTunes loading at startup, which you can disable if you wish. Are you currently running Folding@Home? If not, open up HijackThis and select Do a system scan only. Place a check next to the following entries:
  • O23 - Service: FAH@C:+folding1+FAH504-console - Unknown owner - C:\folding1\FAH504-console.exe (file missing)
  • O23 - Service: FAH@C:+folding2+FAH504-console - Unknown owner - C:\folding2\FAH504-console.exe (file missing)
Click on Fix checked.

Are you using the registry cleaning function of CCleaner as well? It can help performance as well. A reinstall will always help, but obviously it requires a bit of time and effort to get everything setup correctly again!
 
Nah, not using F@H. Couldn't really get it set up properly. I always use the registry side of Ccleaner as well. :) I might sift through my start-up programs, and see if I can get it back to normal. Thanks once again for the help.
