Command Prompt??

Hey.

I've been trying to add a user account on XP Command Prompt.... and failing :'(

Please could anyone tell me the code for adding users because i tryed
"net user <username>/add" and it doesnt work - it comes up with something like "the syntax of this command is ..."

so please help - have i made a stupid mistake like missing out spaces or spelling something wrong???

Hehe exactly.

Space is neccessary to tell CMD that "/add" is NOT the part of the user name and that instead it is the command.

oh - its only to show someone i can get into their system very easily using a limited account by saving the doc. then making a new account on command prompt then making it admin then having access to all their files

If you're on a limited account you shouldn't be able to create an admin account via command prompt without access denied (would be super dumb if you could though lol)
at least with windows 7 and my schools XP computers (I've tried just to test)

the first thing you must do is right click the command prompt icon and select run as administrator
then in the command window type
net user <name of new user> /add
if you wish to delete an account do as exactly as above but with /delete instead of /add

open notepad Aand write "Start command.com" save it as cmd.bat and it should trun into a batch file open it and you have command prompt

mr trigg my IT tech uses that on me all the time then puts what im doing on the computer onto the projector so everyone can see what im doing cuz he like annoing me ggrrr
