Cm storm scout vs ?

Once I get my job I will be building my X58 i7 build...

My computer club 'teacher' builds a computer every year, and he likes my part-picking ability over the rest of the members' so he let me choose the parts.

Nice, wish my school had something like that!

Oh, well that explains it I'm not into that programming stuff either, I'd much rather do hardware than PS

I wouldn't get the Scout case in a million years. Why? Hardly no room for a case that looks fairly large. It is essentially a Cooler Master Gladiator 600 on the inside, painted black, with red lights, and a tacky exterior. It's a pretty tough go to fit a GTX 260 in there. And these days video cards are getting bigger and bigger. For $20 less you could get something like a Cooler Master 690, which has much more room, better cooling, and is better quality. Heck, you could even buy the side panel with the window for it, and still be only $5 more than the Scout.

The Scout is actually one of the only cases coolermaster makes that I really like. Albeit I usually prefer all metal builds (aluminum front panels etc), the Storm actually looks pretty classy for the price.

And Lian Li makes great cases, nice and plain and to the point.
