Building a new PC

Hello, my old Dell computer has just reached the point where its more expensive to keep chaning parts, than it would be to buy a new one. What I'm looking to do right now is build one from scratch, but I'm looking for advice on parts. I play a fair share of video games, but I'm not looking to spend a whole lot of money just so I can max out the graphics on a game like Oblivion. I already have a GeForce 6600 GT graphics card, and basically I'm looking to build a reasonably priced computer (about $500 or less preferably) around this. Any suggestions? I'm talking everything, motherboard, ram, CPU, hard drive, power source, case, etc.

Thanks

For a total of $453 on newegg before tax. Should be a great system with room for upgrades.

Is your 6600GT an AGP or PCI-E video card?

If it's PCI-E, the proposed build looks good. I'd downgrade the PSU to an XClio 450BL (more than sufficient for a single 6600GT), and upgrade the CPU to an X2 3800+ myself.
