bf3 is not starting at all.

after installing the battlefield 3 on my Q2C, it's not starting and giving following error:

Battlefield 3 has stopped working.
check online for solution
close the program.

my hardware configuration is:
Q6600 Q2C 2.4 (no OC)
4gb ram
nvidia 8800gt 512
drive nvidia 275.33
mobo asus p5q
creative sound card
nvidia physx 9.11.1107
windows 7 x64

these are minimum requirements for BF3 but it should atleast run.

Please advise.

did you have the beta? if so you need delete origin and download the newer one.

Other wise, have you tried starting it up straight after the error, that fixes the start up crash for me. A lot of people are having issues with the game crashing on start up but it usually sorts itself out if you try again.

Also do you have any overclocks on any of your hardware, iv heard this causes a lot of crashes sometimes.
 
no beta was installed.
its not running. only giving above attached popup and exit
nothing is OC'd
no xfire on my machine
updating new drivers....
 
ok, have you tried reinstalling? and have you tried disabling origin in game?


Also have you got the latest patch for bf3? it should automatically have downloaded.

As it ever worked?
 
re-installed and origin was not found since it's downloaded from steam
latest patch is installed
no xfire
installing nvidia new driver 285.xx
 
Are you sure it was steam you downloaded it from as it is not available on steam at all?

Just to reiterate, is this a purchased game, from a legit source or pirated? as like i said steam doesnt distribute it due to not seeing eye to eye with EA or something.
 
Origin is required to run BF3. You will need to create an Origin account and it must be running in the background. It's not available on steam as of yet, I guess they are working on it though.
