I hate to say but smartdefrab is the best. All the others lack features or charge. Even the charge do less.
We can argue if pink is better than red but not if smartdfrag is better. It is.
XPS are you the most impressionable poster on the Internet?
OK SmartDefrag is the best because of the level it goes to, It's speed, and scheduling.
I guess if none of that matters sure have a love fest with the others.
I have a theory - the sky is green
I look up at the sky and see it is blue (grey at the minute ), I have evidence to say otherwise, so my theory is wrong, I can prove that another is true - that the sky is in fact blue
You have a theory - SmartDefrag is much better than any other for several reasons.
Do you have evidence to back this up? No, unless you can find it, other than saying from experience or anything like that, then I can say what you are claiming is as ridiculous as me saying the sky is green.
I can tell you now, the best defragmentation tool imo is O&O because it runs in the background all the time, but uses next to no resources. As such, you don't need to defrag. If you do, it is a couple % defragmented and even on the slowest computers, you are talking a few minutes to get everything back in perfect order, but when you do that, there is no noticeable performance gain. It prevents your system from becoming fragmented, rather than letting it get fragmented in the first place and performance deteriorate.
The problem with that though, is that O&O isn't free, so it is no surprise that it is better, they have more development money to play with, and offer more. And yes, they offer scheduling which you seem to think is remarkably important
