However we just upgraded my bro's psu. This time I went enermax and was quite frankly impressed by there quality.

I have to agree, Enermax is the way to go.PC eye said:Enermax is also a good name. But you only went with a 400w model when you upgraded your brother's case? Is that an older Socket A/P2-P3 or a newer P4/AMD64 system there? If it is SLI or Crossfire a little more will be needed.![]()
MOST stable? I would have to disagree.fade2green514 said:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817194005 = waste of money.
this is probably one of the most stable power supplies ive been able to find online
$70 isn't just a "few extra bucks" to everyone. He said for ~$100.fade2green514 said:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817194005
its specs are 700watts and its got FOUR 12V RAILS! all running at 18A! best stability you'll find in my opinion.
i mean really... whos going to use all that power? youd need dual core, dual cpu, dual video cards, 4 dimms, 4 hard drives... and have it all in full load in order to short that thing out. lol CRAZY.. even then i think it would make it through. if you can shell out a few extra bucks i highly suggest it.
a better budget one would be this one
Why would you say any of these are better than the one I chose for pricefade2green514 said:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817709003#DetailSpecs
its got active PFC, SLI support, dual 12V (18+20A) and modular cabling support! you pick and choose what cables you use! lol i'd definitely get that for a more of a budget system. duno if a dual video card box would run on it very stable... but its a good psu.
