best gpu for old motherboard,

Hi all
i have a old pc with a h55-ud3h (about 12 years old) ive seen a

ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 for sale, i have done lots of things with pcs over the years but never fitted a gpu so i am clueless on whats what, its a i5 intel processor so any help would be appreciated thank you in anticipation ​

Your motherboard will support it but it won't be as fast as it would be if it was in a newer motherboard.
