Have not found a game to match these. I love the one hit kills. Little more realistic. Americas Army was the same way till it broke down for the masses...
 
super mario smash brothers... sorry, i don't think there is much that beats these mario games...!

even the the music is as corny as heck , i still get chills down my back when i just hear it... lol, any good place for getting video game music???
 
An old PC racer: Revolt Racing by Acclaim. The physics were horrible, maybe because you were driving remote control cars, but thats what made it so fun.\

Modern: Oblivion hands down.

And starcraft, an old favorite.
