Maybe I did something differently than some of you or maybe I'm just special but either way I got my key today :D

Make sure you hit "Sign Up For The Beta"

Mine took 2 or 3 days, not sure why some of you said you have been waiting months :P

Logging in now, I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, I've played about 30 minutes and I think thats enough. Its pretty bad. Its definitely geared towards a younger audience. It feels like TF2 made by a childs toy company or something. The customization was kinda fun but the entire experience was extremely childish.

Don't get your hopes up for a free TF2 replacement. It doesnt even feel like this game was intended to compete with TF2, even though it looks that way.

As far as not getting your key goes, you need to make sure you go to the sign up page and actually click sign me up. Just registering is not enough.
 
mine took about a month because i signed up the first day it was available to sign up. I guess they had to manually do it. lol
 
I got mine last week. The game is very entertaining. I like the customization options. Plus, for a free game, the cartoony graphics are very well done..I think anyway. I can't wait until this game actually releases.
 
from humanmage and epidemik's replies, i'm thinking the game is gonna be like marmite. Either that or the beta is crappy for some people and some see the potential and when it gets fully released it will be a stunning game. I think not though to be honest :P

I guess I was expecting more of a shooter. Looking back, there are quite a few customization options which I guess could be fun if you enjoy dressing up your character. I didnt play long enough to see how the skills play into the gameplay.

I'm suspecting thats an extremely accurate prediction :D

Ill probably play an hour or so more before I uninstall. I am a little curious what its like when you can customize your characters skills.
 
I think the misinteperated tf2 when they where trying to copy it. It was cell shaded but is isnt a tribute to the cartoons we got sick of as children, it was just fun and tooks itself lightly.

on another note the sound effects in bfh are just annoying

tf2 has more charm and personality than EA could ever dream of putting into a game. i really think BFH is just going to be a poor attempt at TF2 with vehicles, and none of the pizaz that made tf2 what it is

I find BF Heroes MUCH different than TF2. Heroes has a different way of being addictive.
 
I just signed up for it, wonder how long it'll take for me to get the keys. I'm very dissapointed that EA didn't release a full blown Battlefield game like they did for the counsels (bad company). I wonder when BF1943 will come out?

Yeah me too. I really want a modern warfare game with vehicals, essentially exactly like BF2, just with mind blowing graphics :D (I guess thats a lot to ask but then again, these game companies have insane amounts of money)

Youll probably get your key in a couple days.

Im starting to think its just a misconception that BF:H was even intended to compete with TF2. Theyre really pretty different and anyone whos played both (especially game devs) would recognize that.
 
Well, ive had a beta key for almost a year now... i was in on the first closed beta, it didnt impress me that much. This later beta still doesnt make me think that much of the game.... bummer they couldnt make a decent game for free:(

The third person shooting element takes some getting used to, in my opinion anyway. The vehicle control is a little sketchy (when flying planes at least). But all in all I'm having fun with the beta. I'm not a huge FPS connoisseur so I don't really know all the in's and out's of a good FPS. All I know is that it's FREE and that I've been looking forward to this game for a little over a year now.:D
