Avast. This new version includes scanning of newsgroups and internet sites. It upatates frequently and has never let me down. It is very reliable. I am a member of several computer groups on Yahoo, and all I hear about AVG is problems. Stick to Avast.
 
Yes, I agree that Avast is better and I had no intention of using AVG. The first time I heard of AVG was on the radio - some guy was trying to sell it to the listeners even though it is free - they have other versions which aren't, so in essence AVG isn't really free.

:rolleyes: well both AVG and Avast! come in their free and paid-for versions. However, I would also think Avast is better because I hade update problems with AVG. Maybe I was unlucky but Avast! never let me down either.

!Avast ROX lol why uh that is what i have and i likeit when the alert sound goes off when i am sleeping and says Virus detected or what ever. I miss that i am deployed right now and i need my computer BAD! lol.
