I need your honest opinion on which OS to use with my Acer Aspire One (1 GB RAM, 160 GB HD):

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Linux (please specify)

Can you post what your processor is and what clock frequency it runs on?

Well mine (Aspire One D150) has an Atom N280. The 8 and 10 inchers have N270s or N280s in them while the 11's have the Z520. I think any of them are best suited for XP. They run Linux quite well, but I still feel XP is a bit more snappy.

I currently only have a single boot with XP, but do plan to put Ubuntu back on here as a secondary OS.

I'm using Windows XP on my Aspire One netbook.

I wouldn't dream of putting Vista on a netbook.

Linux is really only good for browsing the web and checking email,
since installing programs is a pain, if not impossible.

Windows 7 might work fine for some, but I still think good old XP
would work best.
