48 Best Games of 2008

Hmm, these look interesting.

#43, Splinter Cell Conviction looks pretty sweet. It's like a modern day Assassin's Creed, I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed too. Except for the games tendency to be repetitive.

I didn't think GTA was going to claim the number 1 spot, but I guess it's not that surprising.
 
Yup GTA is the only reason Im getting a PS3. That and MG. Little Big World looks like itll be Fun. But Ive been waiting for Alan Wake for a long time.
 
Oh man GTA has come a LOOOOOOONG way, the first time I played it was with my cousin on his gameboy :) (limo was awesome).

I'm definitely getting number 8 StarCraft RULES!!! Anyone know if Halo wars will be ported to the PC?
 
You guys should vote on the poll I made in this section. I'm antisipating a good argument between GTAers and SRers.
 
I'm not surprised GTA4 took #1 at all. Check out the brand new trailer, Step Up, Ladies. I not even a hugeGTA fan, And this trailer gave me goosebumbs.. It HAS to come to the PC, Rockstar would be idiots if they didn't port it over.
 
I never really got into starcraft...im tempted to check it out though, starcraft 2 is getting a fair ammount of attention.
 
i'm guessing GTA IV should be ported to PC. in the previous GTA games, the PC version was the last to be released usually almost a year after the initial release. sucks!
 
Damn whatever happens, one thing I don't find clear enough...How can a game possibly be better than GTA:San Andreas??
