Is a 7870 sufficient for Dell U2713hm gaming?

Sell it as new on ebay cut your losses. Looking at the latest PC Per mag review of AMD when it comes to their frame rating system. basically shows that CF is virtually a 100% waste of time. Controversial, may be, but the data is pretty persuasive.

I did unlock the voltage option in afterburner, it still won't let me up the voltage.

Trixx or the highway with AMD. If you can not overvolt using sapphire trixx, then you are 100% volt locked.

Personally if I were you, I would wait for the new Radeon 8000 series to come out. I have been saving up my cash to build another rig and put that in there ever since I heard it was first coming out. Just my personal thought. Good luck.

I think I am going to have to go back to nVidia. I am reading way too many negative articles about AMD cards, crossfire, etc. Btw I used to use only GeForce cards. A few years ago I switched to Radeon but I can't remember exactly why. I am going back...
