Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 TI

Anyone have the 660 ti and know if it's good or not.
Should I spend the money or just get the radeon hd 7850.

Take a look at this http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=647 sometimes the 7850 and the 660 Ti come close, sometimes the 7850 is faster, sometimes the 660 Ti.

Overall I'd say the 660 Ti is faster. The 7850 is a great card though, as is the 7870.

I was just reading that before you posted but then I saw the gtx 580 is it any good even though it's a older card?

It is plenty good. It is slower than the 660ti on average though.

A 580 will easily max out just about any game.

The 580 will do better at somethings, like Folding for instance. The 660ti is the best performer in games I think and the 7850 is a very close second. I would go for the 660ti of the three if you don't need FERMI for FAH or other distributed computing.

just a small conclusion I found on the net.
- the gtx 660ti is about 21-23% faster then the hd7850
- and the gtx is also 15-17% faster then the hd7870

In games the gtx is almost equal on the hd7870.

By faster you mean better fps?

By faster I mean better, if your gpu does some benchmark fast and fluent you'll get better points. By faster I mean how fast calculations. And by faster I mean games, fps.

By faster I mean in total.

If you have to ask you are not using it. It is a distributed computing program used by stanford for biological research via examining how proteins fold.

i'd say 7950 might be a small bit better and when looking at it it comes to borderlands 2 or sleeping dogs

it costs more, and the gtx is a better bang for the buck atm. Especially in games they compete.

I've decided and I'm going to get the gtx 660 ti thanks guys for your help I really appreciate it.
Just one more question do you get borderlands 2 with any brand of the gtx 660ti?
