I'm looking for a Laptop Thats (at a max) $650. I know, You can't game on a system like that but I'm just curious to whats out there. I know I really cant play newer games with $650 laptops... Not on Med-High Settings. I was looking at the Lenovo G555, but I'm not too fond of that Graphics chip, and it won't be able to run games Like FC2, BFBC2, and MW2. I want a Nvidia Chip so I can run Bridge It.
  • Bridge It
  • MW2 (medium high settings would be fine)
  • COD4
  • BFBC2
  • BF2
  • NFSMW
  • FC2
  • NFSU2
  • NFSPS
  • FSX
  • GTASA
  • GTAVC
  • N64 roms (of games I own)
  • JC2

So yeah... A Laptop that can run some newer games on Med-High settings would be Great. I also Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, Sony Vegas for Small Projects, and Photoshop.

Same GPU, I'm personally not a fan of The Turion Chips, but if you don't like gateway...
For $100 more you could get a laptop with an HD5670

Gateway and Acer are the same company. And P520 is slower than core i3.
BTw that Acer with 5470, not 5670...

If you don't want acer/gateway. the next one is sony, but u pay $125 more than the gateway I mentioned and with slower cpu

Not sure if you can get your hands on this model in US...but try to find Toshiba Satelite L650-165. I just got one and its great! It gas a ATI's 5650 beast, which is a big step up from 5400 series. And it should fir your budget too!

But as i mentioned, i bought this laptop in UK and i'm not sure if this model is available in US. I couldn't find it on they official page, so i suggest you google it for some retailer that might have it.

Must mention that the laptop does compromise in favour of the GPU, so my midel has only 2GB RAM and 320GB HDD, but these parts are upgradable while GPU is not. Who knows, maybe you will find a good deal and have enough money for an extra RAM stick.
