Battlefield Heroes

It doesn't seem like a game that will be very competitive. The maps don't really seemed balanced. It's basically a cluster online in my opinion.
 
Beta is back up, which is a good thing. However, you now have to purchase "Battlefunds" to customize your character. That's a let down because before you could customize your character through points you earned in game. Unless I'm missing something.

So you mean you can't customize them a bit? That's EA for ya. :P

you can still customize your character using valor points. but thing is, vp is used to buy weapons too. and now that we cant get the vp bonus unless we pay for it, getting that much vp is going to suck.

Ah well! I guess they need money from somewhere.

Still haven't gotten my key. =/

ah thats gonna suck big time,Warrocks like that.

you have to pay premium for best weapons etc,which leaves the people who cant afford that montly fee to get owned with the crappy weapons.

not true. anyone can get the best weapons. it just takes ****ing forever lol.
 
Multiplay were giving beta keys out at I36, although after watching a Dutch friend of mine play it, I'm kind of glad mine got nicked.
 
Well I got my key today which lead to a chain of events:mad:

1. Got the email and clicked the link to tie the Beta Key to your EA account.

2. Tried to tie it to my account...did not work

3. It told me incorrect user name or password.

4. Went to my saved emails and tried to login my EA account...worked just fine:)

5. Called EA and asked what the deal is...they told me that it did in fact tie the Beta key to my account but my account had to many incorrect Login tries and it is now locked...was not me:eek:

6. Asked them to delete my account and I'll make a new one....can't do that either.

7. Told them I was just going to make a new account and register my Beta key with that one...they told me since "the Beta key is tied to the Locked" account it can not be tied to a new account.

8. I asked them what to do..."Sorry Sir, you'll have to sign up for another Beta key"

So in the end...they can have that cartoon game, I am not going to waste another minute of my life ever with it:o
