Question Xfire.

Can someone please tell me what is xfire and what do you do with it.
It's on my computer after i installed CoD4 i'v had two people ask me to put their names down on lt but they will not tell me why,your help needed.

Xfire is a Instant Messenger program that allows you to chat with people while you're in a game.

if you are in a game usually you have to press "alt-tab" to minimize the game and use an Instant Messenger such as MSN. Xfire allows you to press "Scroll-lock + X" to bring up an In Game window which you can select a person to talk to and chat whilst ingame!

you can also take screenshots and record videos using xfire.

and some games offer this feature where you can jump to a match a friend of yours is in. for example your buddy is playing counter strike source on a specific server with de_rats as the map, you can click "join game" and you'll instantly join the server he's in.

Yeah I'm already a part of that. I'm saying that CF should have Xfire in the Contact Info of each person's profile.
