XP networking

I set up a network between two PCs. Both had the internet and are running windows XP.It was working well for about 6 months. Now all of a sudden, one pc has lost the internet. One computer is fine. The problem is, the computer that has the net, loses its connection when the other PC is trying to access the internet. any suggestions?

is this a wireless network?
can you still share files/printers?

no it is not wireless and yes we can see each others files. and the shared printer is no problem

I would suggest maybe a firewall is blocking internet explorer/firefox or whichever browser you are using. If not try re-installing your browser.

So, computer A is using the internet, when computer B connects to the internet computer A loses connection? or is it the browser just doesnt connect?

just the browser doesnt connect. both computers are using internet explorer 6
