XCOPY migration from XP to Win 7

Hey guys,i need an XCOPY script that will connect two computers using an Ethernet crossover cable, after that i would like the came script to copy files from one PC to another in this case My documents. just to explain i am trying to migrate from Windows XP to Windows 7 OS.


i will also take advice on free ware that would do the same

If all you are doing is copy files and folders from your documents folder from the windows XP drive then all you need to do is take the hard drive out of your xp system and attach it to the new system and just browse to where your files are and copy them to the new drive. If you aren't computer savvy enough then get a friend who is to help you accomplish this. Or as long as both are connected to a router, you can set up file sharing and just copy them that way.

to remove the harddisk is out of the question as i will be doing the same routine on multiple computers. so i really cant remove each and every harddisk. the router... havent looked at that but will.

i have tried the WET wizard and that looks good so far quite easy actually
