WTB/WTT quite a bit of stuff

Today my motherboard or my CPU, not sure which or both, died, testing at a friends some point during the week to find out, so this post may be slightly confusing because of the options and also may be irrelevant, because if it is the CPU that has gone, I am fairly sure that I have a friend with a spare C2Q, but not sertain on that one, so:

If it is the motherboard that has gone, WTB any LGA775 motherboard, preferably from UK because of P&P

If it is CPU that has gone, WTB any C2D 2.66GHz or over or any C2Q

Regardless of which has gone, am also interested in:

any AM3 board

and/or CPU, any phenom CPU

and also DDR3 memory.

If that is the case, I have 8GB (4x2GB) 800MHz OCZ memory to trade, and either a working Asus P5N-E SLI motherobard OR an Intel C2D E6750, depending upon which has gone. I will also have a Cooler Master Hyper TX2 cooler aswell, good for any lga775 board and CPU, and any AMD 754/939/940/AM2 board and CPU.

I also have my 2 8600gt cards for sale/trade, bought linkin's 3870 so don't need em any more, never overclocked

I would trade you my Phenom II 550 for that memory. Also, I will have the AM3 board in my sig for sale as well as soon as I get some stuff I bought and set up, about a week for that. It's a gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H which of course is capable of unlocking the 550.

I will wait the week to see how things go and if I can't get just a CPU or just mobo...I am quite short of money and only have trade and maybe £100 at most, so it was a bit of a shit time for this to have happened :( Will maybe end up taking you up on that offer though

Well, I don't know about shipping the mobo to the UK though. Shipping the CPU, a small flat rate box from USPS is $14 for anywhere in the world for me. But, I do believe the medium flat rate box to fit the mobo takes a huge jump to around $40.

Can you PM me your address so I can look up shipping without a flat rate box?

yea I thought as much with the mobo, the CPU though should be worth it.

shipping to WA10 6LQ (note to mods: last time I put this you deleted it, but as there are 20+ houses with that post code, it really doesn't matter at all :P)

Yeah regular priority is $36 so just using the flat rate box would probably be easier and only a couple bucks more.

So I would probably need like $110 USD on top of your ram for both the CPU and mobo. Kinda not worth it then.

even though the memory is £130 new and has only been used for 10 months at most and still has intact lifetime warranty because it hasn't been overclocked ;) ?

I think if you wanted $100 on top of the memory, I would say no anyway because I could get new stuff for that sort of price, that is new with guaranteed quad core and decent mobo

I sold both the CPU and mobo yesterday man. Just letting you know.

Did you determine whether your mobo or CPU is broke?

yea I saw that, no worries :)

and no I didn't, however, I think I have a friend with a Pentium D, which is socket 775 and works with my P5N-E SLI mobo, so will ask if I can borrow it to test it, and that should tell me which it is that has gone ;)

Unfortunately though, if it is the procesor, I have no way of proving that because his motherboard doesn't support it, my CPU has 1333MHz FSB and his doesn't support processors that are that high, but hey ho, just knowing if it is the mobo that is buggered should be enough :)
