Anyone have a DVD WRITER for a Sony Vio laptop
model #PCG-FRV26 they would like to part with?...Please advise and thanks.

A "Sony Vio laptop" is extremely vague... However, most any laptop DVD-Burner should work just fine in the system.

****thanks for the reply.....how so?...I posted the model number. The link you posted does not say anything about compatability. Also, looking for something on the used market. i would rather pay a forum member whom could use the extra cash then "big business".

Haha, sorry... But regardless, don't try to get one for a specific model. Just look for any old "slim" DVD burner, such as what I posted. They're all the same

Well The_Other_One said they are all the same so i would take his word for it.

im pretty sure it would work ok.

Yep... any 'slim' DVD Writer will work in a laptop, just like an normal DVD Writer will work in a PC.
