Looking for a smart phone that can connect to the internet. Doesn't matter what service provider or anything. Touch screen is a must. Lemme know what you have.

Thought they pretty much all did. I have a Motorola MB860 4G Atrix android.
Does every thing a computer can do.

I just wasn't sure. I have never owned a smartphone, as I just have a regular calling/texting phone. I have a job where I sit at a desk and can have a phone, but no computer until a certain time, so I want to surf the web before then. So if they all do, then great.

Have a moto droid that has a bad battery and is a bit scratched, but not on the screen. comes with a 16gb card. current version is rooted and must be reflashed.

What's the exact model? How easy would it to reflash it? Once again, not very technical when it comes to smartphones.

I would have a look at the HTC sensation xe, I know in the UK nvidia are making quadcore prossessors for phones and if that is also true for America I would wate till the new phones with these predecessors come out

They can all connect to wifi. If you're looking to use it as a mobile hotspot though some carriers block that feature. I know Verizon does and makes you pay a $20/m access fee on top of your data plan while still making it use your data from it. PDAnet is a good work around for that though. I believe AT&T does as well.

I'm not looking for the fastest thing out there, just a cheapish one.

My work is at my school, so there's high speed wifi there. That's the only place I'd ever use it. Thanks, though.

Earlier Blackberries don't connect to WiFi. The Tour being the last that don't, I believe. I have a Droid 2 not being used. Connects to WiFi. Nothing wrong with it that I'm aware.

Bumping this thread. Got a phone from Tronsco, but now that I use it at work, my roommate/coworker wants one... He would like the price low, around $50 shipped. Thanks.
