WTB: SATA 2.5" drive,1gb laptop ram,Dell laptop keyboard, maybe optical drive (5.25")

I got, or will be getting, a Dell Inspiron e1505 (new version) with the Intel T2500, Vista, a mobile x1400, whatever.
Needs a new hdd, and the keyboard is missing keys. The keyboard costs over $30 plus shipping. I'm assuming shipping would be alot, because it weighs like 2 oz:mad:

HDD: Needs to be like 120gb or higher. SATA, doesn't matter 1.5/3.
RAM: I don't care. 1gb, DDR2, i'm sure it's 667, but i'll obviously take what you got.
ODD: DVDRW preferred, SATA preferred, will settle for IDE and CDRW/DVDROM.

I'll also need a keyboard for it, odds are it won't be on here, but it's the same size as the :

Doesn't matter if it's used, so long as it's in good condition. I need the ribbon that comes with it ,etc (should just be like, glued in anyway)
 
I don't have a keyboard or HDD, but I do have 2x512MB of DDR2 (I think it's 533, but I can check) and a DVD+/-RW. The RAM's from my grandparent's compaq when I upgraded it, and the optical drive is from my Insiron 1420 (upgraded to a DVD-RAM drive). I used to have a couple keyboards for 1420's as well...don't know if they would have worked, but I'm pretty sure they're long-gone now... Not sure of prices/shipping, so just make me some offers and I'll let you know what I think :P

Also, I still have a C2D T5270 (1.6/2M/800) if you're interested. It came from a Inspiron 1420 with a bad GPU, so it should still be fine.

The optical drive was for a desktop (hence the 5.25" specs young man :P)
Would a C2D work with my laptop? I'm not honestly sure what specs would be required for it, I'm not familiar with laptops at all.
 
For the optical drive, you need to find out if the laptop uses sata or ide, as you cannot just put whatever you want into a notebook.
 
I have a keyboard in good condition that is compatible with that laptop. I could do it for $25 shipped. PM if you're interested.

Eh... I can't say for sure, but it did come from an Inspiron 1420 (well... a Vostro 1400, but same thing). Best you could do is see if a similar processor was ever offered in your laptop.
 
TOO: i don't think it'll work, the max supported cpu's were 667fsb socket 479 or w/e. the t2080 in there now is only 533mhz too.
 
If your interested...i have 1gb (2x512mb) of 533mhz hynix i pulled from a zd8000 notebook, was working fine just upgraded it to 2gb. $10 shipped for it if your interested.
 
I actually need 1gb as in 1stick of 1gb i'm sorry. It currently has 1gb in it, and i want to upgrade. i'm not sure if it's ddr 2 533 or 667 right now though.

Alright, np, just thought if you needed it you could have it for pretty much shipping, been sitting here packaged up for god knows how long:D
 
1)i have a relatively new high performance laptop HDD. currently on newegg $75, i'll give it to you $60 shipped.

2) i also have two kingston 1gb ddr2-667 bought from bestbuy $35. it's open but unused, you have have one stick for $15 shipped.

3) there's a few IDE optical drive i have, it's free as long as you buy with other item, just pay for the shipping

if mitch doesn't want these items, it's also open to anyone else that want them :)
 
what kind of optical drive? IDE will be fine, i'm also interested in the gig of ram, and hard drive. $75 shipped would be great for them. I'm going to a music festival this weekend, and don't know how much money i'll spend there, but i have like $150 on me and tickets are $30, it's 3 days, have to pay for food and stuff and gas.
I get paid again on thursday, I'm not sure if you'd trust me enough to ship it out now or not, but if you did it'd be great. i've been here since 2005 (this account since 2006) and i've sold/bought over two dozen times. if not then i'll pay you this thursday :) i also have heatware under 'Ycarcomed', and i think i've used that a few times too.
