WTB: Hard Drive For Toshiba Satellite

If it's used, I don't mind as long as it can pass an extended hard disc test. Needs a SATA connection, and at least an 80 gig. I got a couple old Gateway systems (Pentium II Windows 98 SE) that have good parts, or I can do cash. Let me know what you got.

Why don't you just buy a new sata hard drive with the size you want?

It's not like they are propritary to Toshiba machines.

you can get a 160GB 7200rpm on newegg for like 60 bucks!!

If I wanted to get a new drive, I wouldn't have posted here. I'm sure someone is parting out a laptop.

I am possibly parting out a laptop sometime within the next month; I am building a system for my sister because her laptop screen is just about useless now, lines running all down it, so will be getting rid.

Not certain on size, it is deffinately over 80GB, 120 if I remember correctly, and I am about 90% sure it is SATA.

If you still haven't found one by the time I have the parts for my sisters new system I will take it out and give the more details and that. Because I am in UK shipping will be about £7 or so, so around $10-12

First off Gateway makes towers and laptops..

Second, you said you wanted a HDD for a Toshiba Satellite which are laptops..

I dunno..maybe I'm confused here??

I think he was talking about the Gateway desktops for trade

Anyways bill, nobody is going to buy a desktop with a PII
