WTB: DDR 400 Ram

Didnt realize buying an older MoBo wouldnt take DDR2. Need a set of 2X1Gig DDR 400 Ram for a reasonable price.

Thats not a bad price but I just cant believe how much more expensive DDR is than DDR2

You could buy 1 gigabyte of DDR 400 memory instead of 2 gigabytes for about $36.

For a HTPC 2gigs would be the better option though correct? Running Mythbuntu linux.

what are you going to run in the htpc? if its just movies and other little things, i wouldnt really bother with more then 1gb.

Well its going to do movies/music/Dual-Tuner PVR

1GB should be more than sufficient for that amount of work, try it on 1GB, and if its too laggy/slow, then upgrade to 2GB.
