WTB cheap pci graphics card

I am looking for a pci x16 graphics card. I am using integrated graphics and I am looking to upgrade. I am looking for something like a 8600 or equivalent. ATI is fine too. As far as price goes, I'm just looking for an okay cheap pci card. I can only pay via money order. If you have something please let me know.

What are the main uses gonna be? Gaming? Web surfing?

And are you looking to get a mobo-powered card or a card that requires it's own power cable?
 
Well, mobo powered or power cord, doesn't really matter. All I want to do is play CS:S and some Guild Wars and a little web surfing. I figure I could find a cheap card to run those. I'm open to pretty much any card. I'm just looking for an overall decent card.
 
Well, mobo-powered or power cord doesn't really matter I don't think. I don't know to much about graphics cards to tell you the truth. I would manly be using it for web surfing, and I might play a little CS:S every now and then. I'm pretty much open to any card as long as it can improve performance a bit. I have a generic atx case, so I'm looking for one that runs pretty cool.

I think I'm trying to find one that someone has for sale on the board. I'm a college student myself and money is a bit tight. I'm just going to see what people have and if I'm lucky enough to have enough cash on hand, I'll pick one up.
 
Ehh when i had my 8600gt it didn't cope too well with CS:S. Maybe because mine was only 256mb, and if that's the case, get a 512mb one.
