Anyone have any socket 939 CPUs that they would be willing to part with? Looking for something at least 4000+ x2 socket 939.

I don't think your going to find one. I believe the highest socket 939 you can have is what I have in my sig, unless they made a 3900+ which I doubt.

Naw, they come faster than that w/ that socket. You can get a FX-60, which runs at 2.6 GHz, but those are a bit pricey and hard to find.

The 4200+ is probably the most reasonable priced one you will be able to find.

It's honestly probably cheaper to by a cheap AM2 board and a used AM2 dual core. I still have my 7750+ i'd part with, and there are loads of decent Am2 mobos out there.

Those are server processors. You won't get the same kinda performance using it in a desktop.

Aren't the 5000+'s AM2?

Last time I checked the price they were over $300, haven't seen any since though

Well if you are interested, i've got 2x1gb of some amazing Mushkin ram (4-4-4-12) and a 7750 that'll go to 3.2ghz on pretty low voltages. the 7750 would come with the stock AMD 720 hs/f too.
